Came across this:

https://purepens.co....ransparent.html

Picture from PurePens.  I saw an Instagram post from them about a release date in September, but I can't find that post anymore.  What do you think?

I like it. :)  Probably won't buy another Eco, but if I did, I'd probably get this one.

I agree with LizEF... don't think I would buy another Eco since I don't like the feel of the section that much, but if I ordered another one it would be this one.

Goulet has it now but Pure Pens have taken down their page. Wonder if that means it won't be available in Europe? :(

Also agree with LizEF and Driften... owning both the Eco and Eco-T, I prefer the tapered grip on the Eco-T.  But yeah if I were buying another Eco I would jump at this.

The real TWSBI Eco sells for somewhere around $30 on Amazon.  You can get the Wing Sung clone for about $16-$20.   My feeling is you get what you pay for.

Oh what the heck. Ill probably add this one to my herd too. TWSBI is like eating peanuts for me. Especially these little Eco with a stub nib. Once you start, its hard to stop.😳

I have the black, white, and clear Eco pens. Don't use a single one of them. Is it weird that I still want to buy this upcoming blue one? 😳

Weird or not, I have exactly the same problem . I'm pretty sure I end up pre-ordering this new one anyway.

I've preordered this one because apparently i have no self control.

Got it in broad as I have a fine eco and a medium diamond so thought I'd try something new

I succumbed to one.  It's my first TWSBI and it's so pretty!  I haven't decided what to ink it up with, though.  A blue ink, to match the color?  A black ink, for sketching?

I gave in too! Cannot resist a cool blue demonstrator. Looks fantastic! Right now I inked mine with Akkerman 05 Shocking Blue ☺️

I love the design to be honest but to play devil's advocate, it does make a pen that initially looks like a toy pen (to the normies) even more so looking like a toy pen

I've just ordered mine, a stub, which is going to become my new signature pen.

A year ago this week, I ordered my first ECO, a clear EF, and I followed that up with a Blue M ECO-T at Christmastime. The EF is for writing in my Filofax Diary, the M for general writing, but I have found I want one that lays down more ink for signing things, and I've decided to try the 1.1 mm stub instead of the B.

I could not be happier with my TWSBI ECO pens. They are inexpensive, well-made, and extremely attractive. I may never again buy another pen, until these die and the company stops making them. I had been pining after a Pelkain M205 Transparent Blue demonstrator for ages, but could not bring myself to spend the money. Now I have three TWSBIs for even less money than one Pelikan.

I use exclusively Mrs. Stewart's Concentrated Liquid Bluing in my pens as ink, which is virtually identical to historical recipes for Prussian Blue ink. If you look at my thread from a few years ago, that was when I switched, and to this day, I have not experienced a single malfunction, except for the time I accidentally unscrewed the section of a converted Platinum Preppy while I was drving and got bluing all over me and my car.

@Amper. Do you have piy from the car ink incident?

You mean pix? No, just a few blue stains on the skirt I was wearing that night. :D

Yep, I meant pictures not piy.  Darn tiny cell phones.

I finally inked up mine. I picked up the broad also. It's super thick in terms of line width. Much wider than my 580 broad or mini broad. The Transparent Blue Eco broad line is so wide I had to swap it out with a nib from my other Ecos. It's almost unusable for me. Had it inked with Noodlers 54th Massachusetts. What have your broad Eco experiences been like?

I have the Blue Eco with a broad nib. It is inked with Noodler’s Blue American Eel. When compared to a medium nib the lines are only a bit wider. The pen has given me no problems at all. Sorry to hear that wasn’t the case for you.
