The nib and the only pen on which it apparently was originally mounted were identified years ago by Brian Anderson as prototypes, and are featured on his website.

Both nib and feed are unique, "one-of-a-kind" designs. Looking at it from the top, its appearance comes close to that of the Sheaffer Triumph.

 

Both nib and pen are very scarce, and unless one is quite lucky, can be purchased for an obscene amount of money.

 

The "6668" number indicates "medium", but as to exact name, I've never heard of one. Since "cape" was mentioned above, I've suggested "batnib".

There may be other suggestions .....

Apparently, those I have don't wrap around as much, so I need to retract or refrain my statement.

It's how you treat the least of these...

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
