Depending on the year your pen was made, nibs and feed diameters come in two sizes - 60mm and 60.5mm. You can buy a plain jane Platinum on Yahoo Japan for cheap. Definitely under $100.

I bought two 3776 (red F and blue M) on Amazon about 18 months ago for under $80 each. You just need to watch Amazon and eBay. Prices fluctuate.

As implied, Platinum does not sell the nibs separately. You'll either buy a pen, source a used pen, or possibly contact people who do pen and nib work to see if they have any for sale (nibs.com would be one possibility).

Considering nibs.com prices, the nib would cost more than what the pen would cost from Japan.

 

Certainly possible, duties and all. Just an option.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.
