What Do You Think Of Getting A Stylus For My Sister?

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I have been looking for one practical pen that both can work on ipad as a stylus and write on the paper as a pen. And I would not like to pay high price for the pen.

I'd like to get some coupons to buy a reasonable pen. So I am asking my friends if they have some coupons or looking for them online.

At one afternoon, after taking the nap, I began to look through all coupons online and found there is some reasonable coupon of pens at the clearance.

I found many coupons on google, among which there is one coupon website called Offers. Then I searched the keyword, Ballpoint Stylus Pen and first seen is that stylus called Metro Bling Pen. What is remembered is that the stylus looks nice in its appearance as it is bling in its surface.

I think that is one good present sent to your friend or family not only in its nice appearance, but it is very practical for me to work as a stylus on ipad and to write on paper as a pen. Most attractive to me is that on the basis of the discount, I can get a good pen by low price.

I am planning to buy a nice gift for my lovely sister on her upcoming birthday celebration.

Here is one photo of the bling pen I will buy for my sister in the attachment. I will choose Pink one as there are 3 colors of bling pens: White, Pink and Black.

So I decide to buy one for my sister. I guess she must like it.

Do you think?

Ok, my expected budget is 3-4 Euro. The price is ok for me.

Mainly I need one stylus with practical functionality:

I need one pen to draw on paper and take note on ipad as a stylus. As my sister is a junior student, she needs one capacitive stylus.

What do you think of this pen as her gift ?

I was thinking of Uniball's jet stream stylus but I think Monteverde's capacitive tool pen also fits the bill probably easier to get the refills for it too since its a D3 or was it a D1 refill slightly over your budget

otherwise this could be interesting to look into as well

thanks for your recommendation. Maybe I will have a try. I have one confusion that I don't know if it can work on ipad as a stylus.

if it's capacitive it will work

another semi-expensive option would be the livescribe pen this is a bluetooth smartpen that uses a specially imaged paper (basically there is a pattern on the paper that you can print) to copy what has been written down to its companion app (available on android and iOS) uses a D1 refill which makes it not really ideal but could be workable gift for your sister

for school use I can see the use case if you can get the paper to print right as you can also record audio with the pen which I think is good for about 10-15 minutes

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
