The triumphal nursery school anthem cracks me up. Somebody has to be feeling pretty good about this pen.

oh that Doramon theme song ... every Asian kid old and new, young and not so young probably know it .... lol

I hear that freaking song every time I go near a kid's store of any kind hahaha. Every single one of my son's toys that has any kind of songs on it always includes the Doraemon song.

Back to three

Yep.. Galaxy is gone.... I wonder how many she puts of each colour?.. Is there a way to tell?.. Or maybe people buy multiples to sell at inflated prices alter.

Fruitlessly waiting for Clear

There is a clear model called "glass."

On the home market it was the first to sell out. Chinese really like their clear demonstrators!

I don't think Galaxy even lasted five minutes haha.

It's almost midnight over here and I just keep refreshing Taobao to see when they are finally up for sale in China. I CANNOT miss out on the 456 Galaxy like I did on the 309!

Very dissappointed with the timing for us here, it is nearing midnight and I was surprised that the 456 has already been listed. Cordierite is already gone, hopefully they have some ebay stock later

I just ordered the blue 56 Infinite on Etsy. All Etsy has right now it that and Cloud and I don't mind a blue demonstrator but Cordierite would have been nice.

Since you are on a similar time zone to China, Taobao may be the best way to go. Perhaps tomorrow more 456 colors will be made available there.

I think it's really interesting that Penbbs chose to release the more exotic colors on the foreign market before doing so at home.

As one of the foreign market purchaser.. This is the FIRST time I was able to snag anything. All the other times it was in your favour... ;)

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
