Rhodia Pads Sale Michaels (Us)

Recommended Posts

Michael's the craft store chain has Rhodia pads on sale for between $4-$6 depending on the pad, online and in stores. No idea how long it lasts!

If you walk in to a store they may not be marked as on sale...just do a price check on a scanner.

I just went to their online site and all the Rhodia offerings are listed as Out of Stock Online. (Prices were great.)

I will probably drop by a store locally today.

Thanks for the heads up. Wonder if my local store has them. And if I can find the weekly store flyer from the newspaper.... (I think I tossed it in the bag for recycling newspapers (curbside) or for the bag of stuff that can't be done curbside but which I can take to a bin over by the elementary school in town....

I know my local store carries Rhodia, but it's only in the dot grid versions, unfortunately. I prefer lined versions of any paper.

Hi Ruth, even if you don't have the flyer, you can get one at their website (usually). One caveat though. Most often the coupons only apply to item NOT on sale! Oh yes, and also only apply for ONE item unless they have a coupon that says "?% off your total order".

I like to print off multiple copies of the coupons (reduced size and several coupons to a single printed sheet) and either go back several times or hand them out to other people shopping in the store. Be careful and don't get caught by a store person doing that as it's not allowed. Also works at A.C. Moore as well.

I did a coupon giveaway one time to a woman who was purchasing an item that cost $240.00 and she ended up paying $120.00 plus tax. Too bad A.C. Moore doesn't carry Rhodia or Clairefontaine!!

The one store in Orange County, CA that I visited had plenty of stock, but none were on sale. Odd.

Two Rhodia pads No18 lined, 5 A4 meeting books and a "webbie", but I'm still looking for more ! From the time I started using them, I cannot find another pad or notebook that is so good with fountain pens. Too bad the only store in Athens that has them is rather short on stock right now and I'm waiting for more to come.

*sigh* why am I always "here" when it would be much better if I was "there?"

I seem to have the same problem

Ended up getting a 6x8 dot pad for 2.99 and an 8x10 dot pad for 4.99, not bad! I use the dot pads for everyday writing, so I run through them pretty fast! Glad I was able to catch the sale.

Well, it turned out that my local store didn't seem to carry them. Or at least not in any of the usual sections where I'd expect them. Haven't checked at any of the local area Michael's locations.

I did buy some acrylic yarn on sale, and the coupon from last week's flyer to get knitting needles. And there's a local art store that regularly carries both Rhodia and Leuchtturm.

All I see are dot (which I will not buy again) and grid pads, with all the dot pads "out of stock online."

I may not have been much help, but I DID bump your thread up to the top.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
