Hey everyone,I'm a newbie to the site and want to upload pictures of my waterman Pen's, but I can't figure it out, have a Android phone and was wondering if it's possible or do I have to use a PC ? Thanks for listening

Greetings and welcome to FPN.

 

I think you would have to wait a little until you reach a certain level of membership to be able to post pictures. Others may chime in to further elaborate on this aspect.

If you want to upload pictures of Waterman pens to ask for identification or discuss them, then you could try in the Waterman forum, using the Upload button. :)

 

Please may I suggest you read the Rules & Guidelines under the tab at the top of the page as I don't know whether the Upload button works for a brand new member or not. :)

Yes you can upload photos directly from Android, but you'll need to use the full desktop site on the mobile browser to do so. The standard mobile view only allows text responses, I think.

 

There isn't a restriction on new users uploading images (in here at least), my introductory post contained a photo of my FP. Only a size limit.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
