But we don't have Girl scout cookies where I'm from

Have all the US bases closed? If not, there are sources...

Actually, I am going to go out on a limb here.

Tim Tams are the MB of the choccy biscuit world.

That's a shame. In that case:

Why does that recipe make me think of a drink concocted by the bartender at my college's TGIF party. It involved vodka, crushed ice, cream or ice cream, and ground up Oreo cookies. With another Oreo floated on top....

No I don't know the proportions (hey, we ARE talking 3-1/2 decades ago...).

Ghost Plane can have my portion of Thin Mints. I hate mint and chocolate in combination.... (And of course the husband's *favorite* ice cream flavor turns out to be mint chocolate chip.... As if marrying into a family that eats little dead salt fish on pizza wasn't bad enough)

You know that he says this to avoid you taking any from him...right?

Chinese cookies are just as good.

Are there Girl Scouts in China? If so, do their ThinMints contain predictions?

You can bite both ends off a Tim-Tam to suck coffee through it.

This is also possible with a Montblanc. It is an unfounded rumour which will soon be averred that their marketing deparmtent is considering this avenue to sell more to stressed executives.

Certainly...

But the real question is: Is it worth more to have them arrived in a green box with plastic wrapping, or in a gold box with a white rose from President Snow.....

I thought you would be satisfied to have them delivered on a pony the color of a banana milkshake.

Could you also suck a Banana flavored milkshake thru the Montblanc?

(I was thinking of the 75th Anniversary Skeleton, in particular..........it's okay if only coffee works, but it would be nice to have the option for either beverage.)

I would only recommend using Montblanc brand milkshakes in my MB skeletons.

Can you get a mint chocolate flavoured MB?

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
