I've seen a few on ebay, usually hard rubber of varying finishes and for what I believe to be reasonable prices.

I'm intrigued by Conway Stewart's colourful lever filling examples too.

Are there any collectors out there, of modern or vintage pens, who could perhaps give me an insight into the world of the stylos and ink pencils?

Are they pleasant and easy to use?

How do they differ mechanically from fountain/ball pens?

And why don't we see them anymore?

I'm a complete novice and would like to learn more, so whatever your contribution I will be most grateful indeed!

Beware that old indelible pencils used aniline dyes which turned out to be quite intensely and morbidly toxic.
