Hello all!

I will do a proper introduction later (perhaps tomorrow at work) but for the time being I am hoping you folks can help me with a bit of a strange issue I am having.

My 4th pen is a Conklin Duragraph from Goulet with the stock medium nib, and it is a decent writer but it "skips" one or two words out of every ten.  At the moment I am using the stock screw-in converter, with Diamine Oxblood ink (one of my favorite colors right now).  The pen has been taken apart and cleaned with un-diluted dish soap.  Also double-checked that everything was screwed down tight.

It -feels- wet enough, in fact when it does write i almost have to go faster to keep up with the flow.  Slowing down, does not seem to help the skipping though.  Very strange!

I've tried to get a decent photo of the nib itself, but my phone does not work so well for that.  Will have to get a proper camera soon ;)

Cheers!

Banjo

p.s. I do plan on getting some of the #6 Goulet nibs for this pen in the future but for now I wanted to see if I could troubleshoot the stock version :)
