Is it true that the flex nib on these Optimas has been modified by Aurora compared to the ones on their recent 88 releases?

I confirm they didn't change the nib.

From my understanding, the cast of the nib did not change, but the composition did. At least these were feedbacks from people using both nibs and reporting a change in feel and performance.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..
