Help: How To Figure Out Penbbs Colors?

Hopefully someone can help me make sense of the eBay muddle. I am looking to try a Penbbs 308 and have found multiple listings for them on eBay, but I can't for the life of me figure out what the colors are! Some of the pictures have numbers on them but most don't so I can't tell which colors go with what number in the drop down.

Is there such a thing as a color chart out there? I have been Googling it for over an hour with zero success. Oi. Here is one of the listings so you can see what I mean...

I have also looked at these, especially aftera YouTube video by ChrisRap. The pens look astonishingly gorgeous with everything you could want in an acrylic pen. The site that you listed has a limited stock of these pens obviuosly and they seem to be concentrated in the solid colors. Having purchased many pens from China, you need to watch the number you select on the pull down menu. This will bring up the corresponding pen. It can be confusing. And this particular seller is not unique in this method as almost everyone selling these pens uses a similar system. Makes you wonder-same operation just different names and sites. Look around at the different sites for the best color selection because if what I have heard is correct, the more fabulous the color, the sooner they disappear.

I did try changing the drop down selection but it didn't change the picture. Perhaps I should try it on a regular website instead of my phone. Do you know of another website that carries a more extensive selection? I'm not terribly picky but I would like to know ahead of time what color I am getting!

Try on a non mobile version. I just went through it, and it changed the photo using my laptop.

Good that it worked out-I didn't realize you were using the phone. Now if they could keep sufficient stock of the fancier colors.......

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
