Hey Hey From Canada!
Posted 23 February 2018 - 21:08
I haven't been on forums in forever so please excuse my noobiness.
I started dabbling in fountain pens about 16 years ago when I first starting working at Staples, but they sat unused in a drawer for many moons because I didn't have a sweet clue what I was doing.
Fast forward to about three years ago when I got back into things and discovered a couple of awesome shops near(ish) me. I am slowly building my collection and figuring out my preferences but so far have stuck to mostly budget pens like Safaris and Metropolitans. I have an older Waterman that I don't use that is from my Staples days, but that's about as fancy as I get so far.
I am not even 40 yet, but I am an old lady at heart. My hobbies are knitting, birding and fountain pens. I don't know how much I will be able to contribute here just yet, but hopefully I can learn something.

Hi - I'm new here too and recently back into the hobby (well, a bit over a year back in) ... in the old days I didn't have a clue either ... but I'm happy to have found so many wonderful you tubers who make my job of learning how to use and maintain my fountain pens MUCH easier! Someone suggested I come on here and post about the fountain pen club I'm trying to get launched in Corpus Christi, Texas so I did!!
I'm into fountain pens, photography, crocheting and reading!!! I'm 54. I'm currently fascinated with TWSBI's. And Robert Oster & Diamine inks especially.

Hello and welcome to FPN, from Cape Town, South Africa.
To sit at one's table on a sunny morning, with four clear hours of uninterruptible security, plenty of nice white paper, and a [fountain] pen - that is true happiness!
