Kaweco Skyline Sport Suddenly Leaking From The Feed

Hey There!

 

So I have been using my Kaweco Sport Medium for several weeks and it has of a sudden started leaking from the feed - I think - the section and the inside of the cap (cap esp.) have ink on them when I open it up. I went with the eye dropper fill but not sure how that could be the issue - JIC I cleaned and re-filled to no avail. I did push the nib into the feed CAREFULLY from the sides and felt like there was a bit of a gap - but the leaking continues. Not an expensive pen but I love how it writes and this leaking business is ruining the experience! Don't know alot about Kaweco nibs so hate to start fiddlin' about as Pete says - anyhow big thanks if you can help - cheers!

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning.
