The image attached shows a Parker Quink inkbottle (cap 2fl oz) together with a Bakelite??? container. The green fluted container has a absorbent disc that fits at the bottom on the container and the other disk came out of the cap of the ink bottle.

Has anyone any ideas as to what it is and when it was sold???

I could not see any ink bottles of this type listed by Parker, so I guess that are no longer available.

regards

Tony

SOLVED

I googled the PROV PAT 3670/30 moulded on the base of the green container. It seems this is a 1930's Parker travelling ink pot. These were available in many colours and designed for that particular 'tall' ink bottle.

Tony

Totally cool.

Yes it's a travelling ink pot. They regularly appear on ebay.  :)
