Here's a comparison of the nibs from a PenBBS 308 (top) and the Delike Smurfs (bottom). Sorry it's not perfectly clear, am still working on this technique. The Delike definitely has a different shape, with more upturn. Looking at these I'm guessing they are not being made by the same manufacturer but who knows. The Delike is smaller, closer to a #5, and the PenBBS is larger, #6. I like both, but where the Delike give a little line variation, the PenBBS just seems to write fine and smoothly.

Thanks for posting this review! I was looking at getting a Smurfs pen for myself and this thread was very helpful. I had no idea the nib waa so interesting.

FWIW the nib is now available by itself for the wing sung 618 piston filler and 601 vacumatic, nooded nibs with either a broad fude nib or this tighter one. I have a set on the way, will report.
