Is there a list out there of all the celluloids that OMAS made pens from?

Also are the Autunno celluloids and Saft Green celluloids the same?

Autunno is darker, more olive green with bronze shades.  Saft is more medium green with black bits.  Ercolessi is more vibrant emerald.  Autunno looks deeper to me than Saft, and I prefer the bronze accents to the black.  But being darker, it takes some light to appreciate it.  My personal favorite is the Ercolessi.

Thank you, I guess it doesn't come through very well in pictures. In some pictures of Saft and Autunno the green looks like the same shade.

Let's see if I can give it a goo from memory, though the names may be off a bit.

Blue Lucens
Black Lucens
Burkina
Autunno
Ercolessi green
London Smoke (swirly light grey on dark)
Burlwood (Radica)
Saffron
Saft
Arco green
Arco brown
Arco platinum (vintage only)
Wild
Royal blue
Oro (black with gold veins)
Scarlet
Red #2 (I recall a store exclusive red) Misremembered. The pen was the same scarlet.

If I remember more or get proper names I'll update.

I have seen pictures under both names that look exactly the same.  Haven't really seen anything definitive on the difference between them

People do mislabel pictures which is not unreasonable as Saft is by far the most common of the greens and folks may have never seen the other coloes. Autunno is easy to distinguish as it is far murkier and has the golden bronze tones and chips. The Saft has clear black flecks. The Ercolessi is the brightest and least common, only having really been used on the store pens. I MO longer have most of my Omas celluloid pens so I can't make a photo, but you can definitely see a difference side by side.

Great list Zaddick! I've never heard of Arco platinum, is that the material used on some of the vintage OMAS?

Sometimes I've seen it called ARCO Grey.

And red # 2 would that be the vintage tortoise?

You'll often see the burlwood called Radica (Omas' name for it)

Platinum Arco on an Omas 361.  A vintage celluloid pattern that was also heavily used by Montblanc.

Hello, I am new here, a first-time poster with older pens. I have a couple of OMAS Galileo instruments from the 1990s. So what's the name of the Galileo celluloid pattern? Also have an Arco (on the list) and Amboina (wood) from that time. Thanks.

The black with white veins running through it is the Wild pattern.

Thank you Zaddick for sharing your knowledge.  I have a Milord and a Paragon, both in Arco bronze. I love the look of that celluloid

I also have a Tibaldi that has celluloid that looks similar, in that it looks like you can look into the celluloid from 2 directions.

Also I just purchased an Omas extra 556/f in grey. Can't wait to see it.
