I found a kitchen scale laying around the house tonight so I weighed some inked pens for fun. The silver vermeil section on the brown arco really seems to add some weight!

The Titanium Omas Paragon came in at 41.29G

Omas new style brown arco Paragon at 49.88G

Visconti Millionaire at 55.97G

Lamy Studio at 32.96G

Do you post your caps? My two heaviest pens shed a significant 25 g when I remove their caps, writing unposted. Full and uncapped dry weights are two bits of data I record for each new pen.

I typically never post my pens. The only ones I post are the Lamy Studios. Hmmmm the weights might be more applicable without the caps. I’ll revisit this thread in a few days and post weights without the caps.

I would think that most of the weight is in the cap for most pens.
