A fountain pen version of the pix line would be nice. As would a splash of colour, matte racing green editions would be tasty.

A reissue of the Octavian or something inspired by spiders. Snakes prevailed on 2017.

Yep, but very well worth it. :D Few design patterns are more beautiful than a Skeletonized spider or spider web... For me, it would be something worth to save my hard earned money.

Is the Pix the same as the Cruise? If so, yes please!

But hopefully they will go for a semi hooded nib. Essentially, I would like to see a re-issue of the old Generation model as an introductory pen to their brand.

Also, I would like the 30ml square bottles back. The bigger version is not nearly as attractive.

How about a 139 reissue. I'd also like to see green striated for the 14X.

Yes to a 139 in precious resin.

I would like to see an affordable skeleton without blue glass/resin for a change.. Found it a bit strange to follow the Blue Hour with the UNICEF.

I’d like a true EF nib on a 146. With the same excellent reliability as their other nibs. Just in EF.

I would love to see a Meisterstück Ultra Blue - so a matte blue one with platinum accents. Okay, maybe I am the only one who would buy it ...

Are the EF nibs really not as good as F and broader ones??

EF seems more like a normal F. And seem to write with broader horizontal strokes than vertical.

You pose two different questions at the same time. What would you like to see?, then followed by What do you expect to see?

So answering them as posed 1. A massive price drop across their range of goods. 2. Not a change in price across their range of goods.

A wise man once said    " the best revenge is wealth "   but a wiser man answered back    " the best revenge is happiness "

The true definition of madness - Doing the same thing everyday and expecting different results......

I'd like to see more nib options as standard. Particulary some real italic and cursive italic nibs from fine italic to broad italic like the recent Fritz Schimpf. The current B and OB upwards could have more line variation for me. Also a EEF option (sorry Tom, you paid a lot for yours), but I just bought a Sailor EF Gear II to cover this which possibly finer.

If these are available in some Heritage sytle bouncy nibs all the better.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
