Pif Twisbi Eco Giveaway

RockingLR

Recommended Posts

In my fountain pen experiments I have decided that the Twisbi eco and I are not a good match. Its a wonderful pen but for some reason I like, but don't love it so I figured I'd pass it along to someone who would enjoy it more then I. This pen is an Extra fine clear bodied Eco. I feel the pen writes very smooth if a tad dry, which can easily be fixed if you prefer a wetter writing pen. I have had no issues with it, I just prefer a few other pens I have. It will come with the box and items it arrived with. You must be a bronze + OR HIGHER to enter. :D

I'm pretty interested in this, it would be the game-changer for my campaign to convert my friend to a FP user. All he has is a Varsity, and that's not a very good convincer if you know what I mean...

EDIT: Nevermind, I can't ask for it when he decided to buy himself a freaking Vac 700 TWSBI for the holidays...

Heck, yeah! Please include me in the selection process.

Forgive the orientation - the FPN uploader would not recognise any corrective rotation : (

Please Note: The entry must be hand written to be considered. Feel free to Re-enter with a hand written note if you did not catch that in the picture!

Thank you to those who read the picture...As I know some internets may be shoddy I'm adding this as a last chance in case the picture did not come across.

Dear RockingLR,

I would also like to be considered. It would be my first demonstrator and will definitely be spoiled.

Thanks!

Carlos.

I have 3 Ecos and don't need another, so I won't ask to be considered an entry - but thanks for your generosity in organising this giveaway. The Ecos are great pens (for my use case anyway), and I'm sure whoever wins will really enjoy it!

This is French cursive, so it might be a little unusual for most members, but I live in California now.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
