2 for 2 GBP

A5, 160 pages spiral bound, squared paper, 70 gsm that works well with FPs.

Perforated.

This will not be challenging Tomoe River but it works brilliantly and is a great price.

Will there ever be a post where she doesnt use the pronoun 'I' less than four times?

I agree.I have been using the for years.

I even use some watercolour in it (light wash) and no trouble.

A silent response: it shows you didn't lose anything

German notebooks are usually FP-friendly as it is mandatory for most pupils and students to use a FP. Only the really cheap stuff from China is garbage.

❦ You do not need glasses if you can't read this. Seriously. Who could read this?

These notebooks  are not an item that is stocked constantly.

Lidl also do a hardback travellers notebook 240 pages on 80gsm paper in cream plain, rear pocket, pen holder and elastic tie band, cost is around 2GBP per book and has much better paper than Leuchterm for example. Made by United Office Products

Again not a constant stock so worth buying a few when you see them.

Usually they don't sell that regularly. (At least here in Germany)

But they do have special offers each week and every now and then (as when school starts) they sell

paper and pens and other stuff for school or office.

The themes of their special offers vary, but somehow they manage to match the Aldi offers -

or vice versa, who knows/bothers?      ;)

This is not the product that I have used but for $2 it would be worth checking out if you have a store near you, it is my experience that the company offers quality and value.

Sometimes they have some nice hard backed ones on offer too. Worth looking out for.

Eh, in the US, I'm going to stick with my FP-friendly (with fair shading, a little sheen and quick dry times) Mead Cambridge. Same idea, perforated, graph paper, order 2 packs for under $4/pad. Great for fast school notes, and then I transcribe them to peter pauper press dot grid hard cover A5 journals.
