Recommended Posts

I have decided that I want to pay it forward for my Noodler's Konrad and the ink Lie Die The.

To be considered for this I would like to challenge you to let your creative funk fly! Post below with something creative be ii writing, drawing, interpretive dance....something that YOU are creative with and it has to be YOU who created it...no cheating here please...it's not limited to anything specific...and I will select the winner from those submissions. Have fun as I will have fun seeing them all.

It'll be free shipping in the U.S. and APO/FPO. If you're outside the US I kindly ask for some of the postage if over $10 USD. Thank you.

LET THE GAMES BEGIN! :D

Hi!

I googled the name of the ink as written in the title - Lie *die* the (it is "de" right?) and the first thing that came up was an Atreyu song called "I would kill/lie/die (for you"). Not my style, but I was motivated and inspired by the possibility of ink and pen. I've had a limited bit of exercise lately due to some health stuff and am still out of breath while posting this, so thanks for the workout! I hope I've made up for lack of talent with passion! Here is my submission, enjoy!

win or not I aim to please...or whatever particular emotion my efforts evoke :) I figured I could get an edge by being the only one in my category. I would love it though if it inspired a few more dance submissions. :bunny01:

very cool!

The funny thing is, at first, I was attempting to be productive and actually work on making notes for flash cards, but ended up with this.

It's a drawing, I was testing my diamine asa ink on yellow.

How much would I pay if I live in the UK?

Really neat drawing! I love the color shift due to the paper too. sorry i somehow missed this entry. I'd know once i take it to the post office but i doubt more then $5.

Thanks for the PIF. I live in Guatemala so if that's a problem I understand, but if not I would like to enter. This is a combination of my two favorite hobbies with fps, drawing Celtic knots and trying different types of letters, of course inspired by the two inks.

Greetings from Guatemala

I'm a lousy artist, but I'm making a Tarot deck for my wife from old book pages.

what an awesome idea that i'm sure will score some bonus points with the wife! How long have you been working on it?

I used my Pilot Metropolitan in M and a Inoxcrom pen that someone gave me as a gift but I haven't been able to find the model.

Weeks. I had a book when I was young, "How to Draw With Pen and Ink" and did some drawing then. (Over 30 years ago) I have not drawn since.

In the end only kindness matters

Just as a heads up, this PIF will be closing on the 23rd of December so I can get it mailed out on the 26th. It will be a little late for Christmas holiday but it'll be a fun belated gift :D It gives everyone a week to finish their creative Idea's and gives me some time to go through and pick the winner :D

Here is my entry. I am a quilter. I took a photograph and printed the photo onto fabric, then quilted it.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
