Hi all

Anyone got any idea about this pen. I searched the entire forum for "Yasaka" and I got zero results. Google tells me they are a Taiwanese metal company who make stationery including pens and scissors!

I got it in an antique ship for £25 which seemed fair. Even if it never worked then no real harm done. It does work quite well. It takes standard international cartridges (apparently - I stuck in a Kaweco cartridge and it seems to fit). The nib is a bit scratchy but no hard starts or skipping.

If anyone can tell me anything about this pen I would be very interested.

Those particular IPG nibs with the flower engraving tend to be used on fairly low-end pens.  You probably paid a fair price but I don't think you got any sort of bargain.

Nice looking pen.  If it writes well you did good.
