Will A Parker Vacumatic Maxima Nib Fit On A Parker Major?

Can we swap the nibs or is one larger than the other?

 

Also, is there some online site that lists nib sizes/pens?

I dont know of any list but i do know that the length of the nib is a key issue to ensure the cap still fits.

No. ...and it shouldn't. The Maxima nib is about the size of a Duofold Sr. nib i.e. a fair bit larger. There is quite a bit of difference in width (shoulders), radius and length, and all three matter. The shoulders of the nib could hit the inside of the inner cap, and the nib is likely to be long enough to bottom out on the end of the inner cap, and the radius too big to fit on top of the Major feed - and in the section.

This is true. Physical size of the Major and Juniors are the same - you can even swap caps though the Jr has two thin bands and no blue diamond. The OD of the sections are the same. The difference is the ID of the section and therefore the diameter of the feed, and the nib, which are smaller.
