Look towards the beginning of this thread. TWDPens (The Writing Desk) is an online retailer in Britain.

Thank you! Martini is selling all 2000 nibs for 95 Euro on
German eBay which runs to 115.00 - and seems a lot.

All Lamy pens that have gold nibs also have medium- and broad-oblique options (eg Imporium, dialog 3, scala piano black, cp1 PT etc). As mentioned above, you also have the option of an after-market 14k gold nib in an oblique point size.

HTH,

Martin

Does the Dialog 3 with an oblique present a problem in use because of the clip being in the grip zone?

Also, anybody have any idea why I can't find any Lamy 2000 oblique for sale in the US?

Possibly. I think it's probably something you'd have to try.

Sorry, don't know the answer to that one. Perhaps the new Lamy distributor will do a better job than the previous one.

Here's the Lamy OB steel I got at the end of last year. Goulet is trying to get more.

Wow, that looks quite stubby to me...

But that angle is rather steep..

^ I have a nib like this in my Lamy 27n collection... and while the angle looks steep, it feels wonderful.  :)

They didn't stop with gold nibs for the 2000, Studio and Dialog, still offering for both styles the OM and OB; but they did stop producing the obliques on the steel series.

There's still NOS in various places, but it comes at a premium...

Hopefully the Goulet's can put their magic to work!
