I have a Montblanc Rollerball, the size and girth of a classique, but the cap screws in

 

The pen also has that reddish hue in the light as well.

I would check on the MB website and compare to their current Rb inventory. Is there a serial number?

Before i tell more of the story, i just want to make sure there is no classic sized roller ball with a twist cap.

 

I dont see it in the catelog unless this is a vintage

No rollerball can be vintage and no Meisterstück Classique rollerball had a screw-on cap. But the Le Grand has.

This is correct.

 

If you know the RB is definitely a Classique size and girth, then the correct cap for an authentic pen is a push on cap, not a screw on cap.

 

The only authentic standard Montblanc Meisterstück RB that has a screw-on cap is the Le Grand size.
