Lovely review, as I've noticed is a trend with you :D I've never really liked browns until recently and I'm not sure exactly what i'm looking for.  lol. I'm debating this, Pilot Iroshizuku Tsukushi, and Noodler's walnut. Do you have any experience with these inks and how close they are by chance?

Nice compact review!

Haven't tried this JH ink, but have used their Cacao du Bresil.

Any comparison comments from anyone?

I use this ink in my Karas Kustoms and I am really happy with it.

I have a lot of inks, but not Cacao du Bresil

Cacao looks more greyish to me on the screen.

But I found this one:

Thank you for your input and the link!

Cacao is more of a 'soft brown' color....

I have Walnut and Lie de The. They are different shades. Walnut is more of a warm medium brown, slightly darker. Lie de The hints toward green and is a more complex ink with some subtle hue variation based on shading. Walnut smells delicious! Though Lie de The also has a very faint pleasant tea leaf like aroma. I really like both inks. Both have good water resistance.

Noodler's Walnut is coming up, I finished it but, as with some Noodler's inks, it takes some time to dry.....
