Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

I've only ever uploaded one review that was all hand-written and photographed - and it was the only review no-one replied to.  Probably because my handwriting wasn't neat or attractive enough for others to want to read it all the way through.  These days, I provide a photograph of a writing sample, but the bulk of my review is either text or photographs of the pen.

I don't want to be rude, but I looked at your review when it came up, found the writing a little hard to read, and moved on.

I do like Stipula, but for some reason the clips really offend me. I've looked at this pen many times but just haven't been able to bring myself to buy. I had a Model T (which I sold) and loved the pen, but the clip really annoyed me (it was similar to the other model review you put up here). The only Stipula I've kept is the Orient Express which is  - in my opinion - an extremely beautiful pen.

Your handwriting is not the best, and it is impossible to read what you have written.

It's a gorgeous nib and design with a godawful ugly clip. Still wouldn't stop me using it!

His handwriting is fine, I can read it no problem. Is it the cleanest? No. But 95% of us are no better.

None of you complained at the one or two reviews I handwrote while drunk so don't give him any grief.

I think it's a lovely pen and I appreciate Georges' informative review.  He is, IMHO, a veteran expert and I value his commentary very much.

Yours is a very "noble" response.   And the point?    The 95% of us with no better writing have not (i) posted samples here, (ii) followed up with an expression of frustration on the number of views without responses.    Kindly read (i) and (ii) again.

Also, note that this is not about you.   However, if you point me to your follow-ups that correspond to (ii), I will take a look at your stuff and see what reasonable advice I can give.

Far from "giving him grief", I and one other reader have helpfully pointed out a problem that he might wish correct, for example by typing up his review.  Message, not messenger, please.   Thank you.
