I really like it capped, but uncapped it looks too much like a Kaweco to me. Love the material.

I like the look. It reminds me of a Tibaldi Imperial somewhat.

 

Keep up the good work. I think I am still 6 months away in the queue and new options will make the wait more exciting. Of course, that also means a moratorium on new models for a year after I make my choice! ;)

Shawn, that is just spectacular. Different materials would really change the pattern and shape of this design.

The craftsmanship in making spiraling facets is impressive. It looks very nice. But I have to say the most appealing to me is the one above -- yowza!!! Is it postable? What are the dimensions?

It's sort of postable. .55" Ø at the barrel threads, and about .65" Ø at cap and barrel widest points, tapering down to... something. Probably .55 cap end and .45 barrel end. :)

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
