Hi, I'm pretty new to fountain pens and ink in general and I was hoping to find an ink that matches the color of my 2007 Mustang. The color name is listed as "Vista Blue" but every Google search I run that includes the words Vista and Fountain Pen just pulls up articles related to the Lamy Vista pen. I'd really appreciate any help finding a good color match for this. I've attached a picture of the car for reference

From the photo (at least on my screen) I'd say Akkerman Shocking Blue (for a dark "true" blue, with red sheen to it), or -- if there's a hint of teal in the car color -- maybe Diamine Oxford Blue.

Looking at Chrissy's comparison sheet (and I'm looking at the actual writing, not the swabs, Diamine Majestic Blue might also be a good choice).

Looks like Diamine Sargasso Sea might be a close match, although it's a temperamental ink. PR Electric DC Blue and Diamine Cornflower also are worth considering.

Ford's Vista Blue and Deep Impact Blue are very close.

Diamine Majestic Blue was my first thought or Sargasso Sea as a close second.

Maybe not the exact color, but if you are talking about a real American muscle car, then there can be only one American muscular blue for this one:

Noodler's Baystate Blue

Yeah, but the problem with BSB is that it's not UV resistant....
