I managed to repair it after the leaks (gasket and grease), but this morning the cap perfectly separated from the metal ferrule. Totally clean, no cracking, looks like it had the glue simply let go. Has anyone tried simple superglue to hold this? I don't care how it looks, I just want it to work.

Well, I'm getting a new cap sent. I'm also going to try and repair the cap that I have.
