Yes I shall be there as usual.  You may identify me by my bow-tie.

I'll be there, meeting up with the London Pen Club before hand.

Had no idea this was a thing. Please everybody shout and scream about it next time one happens so I stand a chance at visiting.

you're lucky  -  for the next London show you won't have to wait twelve months round to October 2019, as the next Holiday Inn event is going to be late March, I think  -  something to do with the fact that the Cambridge event has been shifted to London.

In one way that's good, but I was looking forward to a trip to Cambridge!

Dang! Missed it. Was working out of town. When is the next one. Annual event? Or more frequent?

Thanks.

Oh Rats! I live relatively near Cambridge and consoled myself with the thought that I could visit that fair in the Spring as London is harder to get to.... If the show moves I'll be disappointed.

Cambridge isn't in the Outer Hebrides  -  once you know the March date you can book the train to London - in advance - it always used to be that early bookings attracted a price discount. :D

As a schoolboy of something like 14 or 15, I cycled with a school group to Cambridge from Essex.      In those days school masters were keen on the big outdoors and encouraged groups of boys to take advantage of the YHA, and for something like £0.50 per night you could cycle around the countryside with just a cotton inner sleeping bag and a puncture repair kit  ………..  probably about 1850 I think. ;)

I know, London isn't that far but there and back in a day is that much harder ... And yes, I know there are places to stay in London But family commitments make that so much harder to organise.... And I like walking round Cambridge. Oh well, I'll just have to see what's happening in March.

I don't see the problem. Trains run hourly (assuming they are!) and the show is over by mid afternoon

Will the October London show still happen or is this March show the only one?

have asked Steve Hull this question and he now confirms there will be both the March AND October shows. in London, in 2019  -  at the Holiday Inn, which is the usual venue.              So yes, two shows this year.
