That writing sample is very impressive!

Thank you for sharing that letter. I'm very tempted to pick one up now. It looks quite stubbish and very crispy. My kind of nib!

I also visited Fritz Schimpf" web page, where they posted another couple of samples. It is, indeed, a very desirable nib. Being a "Special edition" it is a bit over my meanings, but very desirable nonetheless. Actually, it seemed to me one of the best Montblanc modern nibs altogether.

As Montblanc gave such a clear example of their virtues in making this kind of italic-slightly-stubbed nibs, it would really interesting if they would add this variant to their nib choices.

Lovely! Hoping these are a complete fast sell out so we can have a 149 version for those of us who find the 146 too small.

Yes please.

So my pen is here ;)

The packaging of Fritz Schimpf is really beautiful...it's a carton wrapped in brown paper. Whoaaa

I need to write some more with this pen to say if I really really like it...It is not as smooth as my other MBs.

The line variation is pretty noticeable...but it is quite similar to my B Nibs...and the B nibs are smoother...

but see for yourself

Dream bigger, or in this case wider... :)

I’d pounce on a BBB in a heartbeat. Fritz might want to start with a BB to get the ball rolling. Look how terrified the narrow nib contingent are of a simple B.

~ Ghost Plane:

Were they to know of the wider than BBB dreams of a few of us...they scarf down chocolate chip cookies like there's no tomorrow.

Those larger than life nibs are where the fun is...as you've been saying for years.
