Hi All

I have bough a Hero 1000 from ebay(Seller: jewelrymathematics). Buy going through the ebay reviews and some post in FPN, I can assume that jewelrymathematics is a reliable seller.

But the problem is, he sent the Item through Yenwen Express.

In internet I am unable to find any positive review on the same. Although he has EMS option but that is too expensive

($25 shipping on $43 pen :yikes:). I have advised him to send the item thought registered china post, but he said that will be very slow.

So if you have any prior experience with this seller and the carrier(e.e. Yenwen Express) pleas let me know.

Thank You

I can't be of much help but you might also want to post this in the "Fountain & dip pens - First Stop" and "China, Korea and Others (Far East, Asia)" sub-forums to get more responses.

I have bought a Hero 100 from him, and had it arrive to the eastern US in a couple of weeks. I'm not sure what carrier he used, but I didn't have any problems.

I have made many purchases from People's Republic of China.  95% entirely satisfactory.  I try not to risk more than I can afford to lose, as there is some delivery reliability issue.  Ebay, however, has a very good "Buyer Protection Plan".

I've bought two pens from him, one being a Hero 395 and one being Hero 1000. The 1000 arrived promptly, I still don't have the 395. He said that he'll include it on my next order from him, so I wouldn't be too worried about losing money on these deals.
