The Sound Of A Pen

There's nothing that sounds quite like a pointed, steel dip pen on good paper. And for even more of an experience, try a quill on vellum. Ain't nothing like it in the writing world for sound or feel, and I've used fountain pens, gold and steel dip pens of all kinds, reed pens, Chinese ink and brushes, and pencils of all kinds.

We're all a little weird, aren't we. :D

The Cross Townsend cap makes a reassuring click when you close the cap.

I also like the feel and sound of the Parker Sonnet cap closing.

This is true. :)

Hi AAA, et al,

Yes, I do enjoy the sound of a G-nib on lightly textured papers. :)

I don't know what it's like to write with a real quill... the turkeys and the ducks around here can all outrun/fly me.

Yes. I do not refer to FPN as a "squirrel cage" for no good reason(s).

Be well... or as close to it as you can get. :)

The sound of a few of my pens 'singing' on some papers is much more pleasing than the click while closing the pen... The 3776 F has a nice tenor :-)
