Hello all,

for awhile I've had a double dipless desk set.  I was able to put it together from different sources but for some reason a red taper has eluded me.   I've done a good amount of searching online but wonedered if anyone knew where to look for one.  I am making the assumption that the taper is threaded similarly for dipless pens.

The red tapers or pens with red tapers are not easy to find.  I found this:  http://www.ebay.com/...goAAOSwVRpZn1DZ

Not much out there.  It seems there is less available now than a few years ago.

Are you looking for the clear red taper, or the opaque red taper?

I don't have one to sell, just curious. And yeah, they're not easy to find. I have one dipless, clear red taper. It's the same as the clear

Some taper will interchange, others will NOT.

What dipless pen do you have; X (short barrel) or XX (long barrel) and is it black or marbled?

The taper from the black W desk pen will fit the black X dipless, but not the marbled XX pen.

The taper from the marbled W desk pen will fit the marbled XX pen.

And, the taper of the X dipless pen is longer than the tappers of the XX dipless and W desk pens.  So a W taper on a X pen may look slightly odd (short).

There was one that went up on eBay last night.  It went relatively high, but you don't see them often.

Were you able to secure one? I have one if you're still looking. That's an A5 pad for scale.
