I found a 139 on eBay for $1500,and it is supposedly near mint. Is this a good price?

Still less than a Hemingway and probably has a better nib. I'd want to be absolutely sure it was in good working order.

 

Edited to add:

If it helps to put it in context, there is one for sale here in Ireland (which I don't believe has it's original nib) that's not in great condition and has a clip that has clearly been sprung at some point. Asking price E4000.
