Please excuse the other contributors to this thread.

They think they are amusing.

Seriously? In a world with so many problems, a little humor is a welcome thing.

Go wag your finger somewhere else. I bet Lulu didn't mind one bit.

Who are You to tell me what to do? The days when I need to take advice from people like you are some way off and thank God I dont have to take lessons from you on what is funny.

There was no finger wagging until yours started.

Go temper your pomposity with a little humility.

Go attenuate your hypocrisy with a dose of reality: we're all allowed to speak as we please, until a moderator says otherwise.

It is no use talking in such harsh tone to each other. We should respect each other and appreciate difference of opinion. I would advise restraint.

And this is from the man who criticises FPN constantly from the safety of Fountain Pen Geeks and then comes along and thinks that his contributions have merit or value.

Noted that your principle is to say whatever you please until a Moderator corrects the situation then perhaps you are best avoided.

Erroneous statements and plenty of judgment.

No.

And I saw pics: once again, you guys left a mess for Daphne to clean up. Savages.

Lulu. In case you're still reading this thread I wanted to tell you that I really like my 100 and I hope you enjoy yours. This pen is not universally liked on this board, but I've had great luck with mine and I think it writes very smoothly. It's been a very reliable writer for me. Hope you enjoy !

Like mine too. Nib a little stiff though but at the price paid I am not complaining. It is a decently built fountain pen for the price. One minor complain is the clip is a little stiff.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
