I had the opportunity to buy a brand new  Marlene Dietrich Muse FP, last year.

What does the MB Website says about it ?

"The profile of the Marlene Dietrich Special Edition, made of black precious resin, is a stylised reflection of Dietrich’s silhouette in her legendary trouser suit, while the clip, embellished with a sapphire, symbolises the distinctive tie worn by the “Blue Angel”. Even the heart-shaped hole cut into the rhodium-coated Au 750 solid gold nib is reminiscent of Dietrich’s famous film character: “von Kopf bis Fuß auf Liebe eingestellt” – “in love from head to toe”."

(all pictures from my husband)

I don't mention sizes, I'll give them in a few weeks, when I make the 4 muses comparison

The sapphire on the clip. I love the line on the clip, it gives an "art deco" look that I like.

Side of the clip. We can see just a small part of Dietrich's signature.

The signature, behind the cap. And you can check the lines of the cap and the body are continuous lines.

The MB symbol is on top of the cap, embedded in a mother-of-pearl top. The bottom of the pen is also with mother-of-pearl.
The cap and the bottom are not round, they are ovals.

The pen won't roll, whatever position it's in, thanks to this shape, and because  top and bottom makes a 90° angle.

The nib, with a heart hole ... Size F. Quite stiff, but smooth.

From all 4 muses I have, it's the nib I prefer to use : perfect size, and the pen stands perfectly in my hand, not too heavy, not too light.

Same feed as the other muses.

And now, let's try it.

The ink is MB LE twilight blue, because it makes a beautiful link wuth the sapphire on the clip :)

Sorry, the text is in French, and it is supposed to be a funny text, always a bit hard to translate. And I took the pictures with my phone, so they are less nice ...

"Marmotte" is some kind of groundhog but a "marmotte" is also some kind of pouch to carry watches, jewellery, glasses ... and of course, Foutain Pens !

The penrolls I sew are some kind of "marmottes". So I wrote a text describing the penrolls, as if it were animals.

One pen roll, two pen rolls, three pen rolls ... So many pen rolls ! Do you want one ?
my tiny shop is open  and you can have a closer look on my website to see my cotton (and sometimes silk) OOAK penrolls.

Thanks for the review. I used to have the silver 1901 version and it was a looker, but kinda heavy to use. A great weapon for the apocalypse though. :)
