I understand that finding some of these pieces (the Cities series) can be a little challenging. I am not after them myself so have no idea of availability or going price, but some of them are very attractive.

 

If they are on your 'list' I noticed 5 of them listed at Fivestar pens. Great looking pens. I have purchased pens from Five Star in the past and have been treated very well there.

I want The Grand Place....Brussels.

Even the 5 I don't want that were shown, are gorgeous.

As soon as the six numbers line up...that don't want, ends.

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

I adore Athens and Shanghai but they are out of my reach from what I have seen! I also quite like the Beauties of Nature series which are still spendy but not as bad.

$550-700 seems to be about the going rate for these. Hard to find a good deal within the series these days. Decent demand and limited supply. Would love to own the set but too rich for me. If I could just find a San Francisco for sale though...

The Piccadilly circus and some of the others come up on ebay once in a while. I got one for a good price, but I kept getting outbid on them, so it took about 3 years to find one. I would love the Athens too, but it seems to be the most expensive of the lot!

Some years ago I had the opportunity to buy the Place de la Concorde and the Piccadily Circus for a good price (>200€) - and I didn't take them. :wallbash:

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..
