Nice Wahl Eversharp Nib - Is The Pen A Wahl Eversharp Or It's Sheaffer?

I have acquired a pen, which is nice and have a springy nib, good flex. The nib is inscribed Wahl Eversharp 14k, 2 Flexible.

 

The seller advertised the pen as a Wahl Eversharp, but there is no inscription to that effect whatsoever, no numbers or anything onto the body, cap or feed. I am not at all certain this is a Wahl Eversharp, looks like a Sheaffer to me, albeit a small one. Perhaps I am wrong on both accounts, that is why I seek help to identify this fountain pen.

Neither a Wahl nor a Sheaffer. It looks like a "no name" pen made by what is frequently called a "3rd Tier" maker.

At some point put a very nice nib on a much lesser pen.

 

It is not uncommon for sellers to assume that a pen is by the maker marked on the nib when there is no other marking to contradict it.

The pen looks attractive but I agree with Greg, it is neither a Wahl-Eversharp nor a Sheaffer.

That's what I thought. Blast, I thought I had a good one. Oh well, the nib is genuine and the pen is nice, so I guess it's not as bad as it may have been.
