Parker Parkette In Unusual, (To Me) Color

I like Parkettes and their colors as shown in the Parker Penography site. I bought this one and was wondering what colors were out their other than the ones on that very helpful site.

It is an unusual color indeed. Is there a "Parkette" barrel imprint?

Yes there is Parkette on the barrel but the imprint is pretty worn. The date is legible 25, so second quarter 1935. Thanks Joss I went to that site when I got the pen a couple of weeks ago and found no color pattern like this.

I am not a Parkette expert but I asked about the barrel imprint as early (coloured) Parkettes had a black plastic dome on top of the cap and barrel. It is difficult to see on the pictures whether your pen has these features too.

joss, It is hard to see, but those domes are on the cap and barrel.

I've been fortunate enough to have found two of them myself, plus a pencil. They are undocumented, but seem to exist in small numbers.

Nice, thanks Brian. I paid $10.50 for mine back on May 4. The picture was so dark, I don't think anyone noticed the pattern.
