Ebay Warning! Check Your Account And Shipping Address

Hi all,

 

Yesterday I placed an order for a pen and didn't double check my shipping address since I placed the order on my cellphone. When I received my confirmation, I noticed that the shipping address was not mine. It was my name and zip code, but the address between them was not mine, not even one I recognized. I quickly emailed the vendor, and then corrected my address and changed my password in my eBay account settings. However, it seems the item was already shipped to the wrong address. This seems like an eBay glitch as nothing else was changed in my account settings and no unexpected purchases had been made. I will contact eBay tomorrow and sort it out, but I have already seen comments on the Internet that I am not alone in this. Thank goodness the order was just for a 0.99 cent Jinhao.

 

Please check your address now in your eBay account settings, and check carefully during future transactions before you hit the purchase button.
