Hello everyone,

I hope this is the right place for this notice. I have an almost new 1.1 italic stub nib available free to a fellow Lamy enthusiast. I bought this to try in my Safari as a change from my EF nib, but it's too broad for my liking.

It is available to FPN members in Canada and the continental USA. I will pay to ship it without tracking via Canada Post to the person who sends me the most interesting request by next Wednesday (Ap.19, 2017).

Regards

I will offer you a fine black and medium bright metal Safari nib for the 1.1 stub.  Is that interesting?

Thank you Pajaro, the most interesting and . . . the only one thus far ;-)

If on Wednesday I decide in favor of your request would you consider giving your nib(s) to someone else in this forum instead of trading them with me?

Will post my decision re: the 1.1 stub here on Thursday.

I have nothing to offer but my gratitude and a promise that I'd use it to review for the Bar exams :)

Rechecking my spare nibs, I have fine, medium and broad black nibs.  You may have any or all of those in exchange for the 1.1.  I figure it reduces my spares, less to keep track of.  All my other Safari nibs are ef nibs.

Once there was a bit of rock
buried in the earth
Since the dawn of time it sat
No one saw its worth
Til it was brought into the light
And held up to the sun
Then blood was spilt for that lump
The rock's journey had begun
The rock was sold to a caravan
They brought it to a town
They threw it in a fire pit
Where it was melted down
It was pounded on an anvil
And made into a ring
It was given to a prince
A prince who became a king
The king ruled all of Egypt
The ring was his signature
The king was killed and buried
His death was premature
The ring lay in the ground again
A giant pyramid
Til robbers took the ring to Rome
And melted it once again
For a time it was a crown
Then it was a chain
Then it was a coin
And then a ring once again
The woman who wore the ring
Never brushed her teeth
So when one fell out
She use the ring to fill her need
The woman lived luxuriously
After a little while
The woman got so deep in debt
She pull the tooth and ruined her smile
But the tooth became a medal
Given for valor in war
But the soldier died in a battle
And the medal was sold to a store
A buyer needed electronics
Gold components to make them run fast
But the tech was quickly outdated
The parts were not made to last
Then the scrap went to an old junkyard
And melt down into a bar
Then sold by the ounce on the market
And bought by a maker of pens
Who molded and shaped the metal
Into a writing instrument
Then you bought the nib, dear friend
And ground it into a stub
Now you offer your work on this forum
A generous offer of love

Hi.

Thanks for a generous offer, but next time, you should run this through the PIF forum.

I will do that next time. Only posted it here because of being Lamy specific. Pardon my 'faux pas.'

Congratulations Pajaro,

The Lamy 1.1 stub nib is yours for free as per my original post here. I do not want anything in exchange, though it was kind of you to offer me your black one(s).

Please pm me with your name and postal address and I will be happy to mail it to you within the next few days.
