OK here things get weird. It should be noted I have another Ranga eye dropper (as opposed to c/c version used as an eye dropper), which if any thing lets too much ink through. I tried your recommendation - no joy. Tried a number of variations no joy. Now is the interesting bit.
- If I remove the nib and put the section under the tap, water flows through in either direction.
- If I put the section back in, WITHOUT the nib and feed in, and hold the pen with the nib slot downwards, so ink should drop on to the cloth below, nothing flows through the hole.
I'm wondering the hole is slightly too small, but I assume Mr Kandam Snr uses the same drill tool for all pens, so can't see why this would be the reason.
Maybe hole is smaller... but before we go further in that direction ... I would request you to get in touch with MP Kandan
