Yes, this ink is dry and wants a wetter nib that can handle it.

I've used the ink in a couple pens, both of which are wet writers but probably not gushers. I may try the ink one more time but have to figure out what my wettest pen is.

Oh YES, that's a perfect nib for this ink.  Enjoy!

I really want to like this ink but its so dry it I cant find a pen that works well with it. Maybe I have a bad bottle.

A wet fine or medium is where this ink shines. I personally don't like it in broader nibs.

Dry and terrible. This is an iron gall ink through and through. It is very well behaved and doesn't skip but don't expect it to make a nib glide.

I love the colour of this ink and as the review says it is indeed very unique. I only picked up a bottle recently. Two things to note though:

1. It stains, big time.

2. It is easily the driest and most unlubricated ink I own.

The staining doesn't bother me because I'm only using it in pens with converters, but the complete lack of lubrication in the ink makes it a little hard to love overall.

Yeah, this ink is all about the color change and result.
