Guys,

I'm struggling to find any pen shops in London that have the Lamy Imporium in their on-line lists.

Has anyone a thought on where I might find one in London?

Harrods? If not then they would know where to send you.

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

You could try ringing a branch or two of The Pen Shop - online lists are almost certainly just what's in their warehouse, not necessarily what they have in their stores. The Leadenhall one was the shop that got me in to Lamys when they talked me about from spending £30-50 on a mid range pen (at the time) and to tr a Safari or Al-Star instead (of course times and staff change).

At Harrods they did take the time to find out where Purdies was for me....I needed to :puddle: all over the floor.

One of the ladies selling Fudge told me where to go to get better....so would expect Harrods to do the same with a pen they don't have.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
