Kwz Raspberry

I didn't expect to like the color of this ink as much as I did. I'm not usually a fan of pinks, but winter has me craving more lively colors. I was afraid this would have too much orange for my liking, but it is a very nice blue-pink that is moderately saturated. It performs very well & dries quickly. The flow is average, but it is a little bit drier than other KWZ inks I've used.

Beautiful colour, great review and amazing handwriting, thank you! This one is tempting, although I don't need another pink. My go to are Iroshizuku Tsutsuji, Noodlers Saguaro Wine and J Herbin Rose Cyclamen. Not to mention Diamine Magenta.

But... One can never have too many pinks! 😀

I am a big fan of Raspberry too! Its a unique color that wouldn't let me do anything but place it in my ink collection!

FP Ink Orphanage-Is an ink not working with your pens, not the color you're looking for, is never to see the light of day again?!! If this is you, and the ink is in fine condition otherwise, don't dump it down the sink, or throw it into the trash, send it to me (payment can be negotiated), and I will provide it a nice safe home with love, and a decent meal of paper! Please PM me!For Sale: TBA

NIce review. I too love your handwriting. The red ... Is not LOUD and OBNOXIOUS... it's just not dark and blue enough for the raspberries I used to pluck.

It's not LOUD and OBNOXIOUS enough for me! :D

But is it loud and obnoxious enough for Amber? B)

Me, I can *definitely* see myself using this -- even if it doesn't appear to have much in the way of water resistance. Thanks for the review. And not....

Thank you for the review. Maybe not one for me as I have enough pink inks. I also like your handwriting and found myself trying to work out how you wrote your "a's" :)

Tee hee hee.. I like it, but it's not LOUD enough or OBNOXIOUS enough for my tastes. I prefer retina searing inks. Thanks Julia for the wonderful review.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

You were right about how I make my "a's" :) .

If I make my writing large enough or think about it as I'm doing it, there's an actual loop, but otherwise, it's just a slash.

I've been looking for the perfect pink, and this may be it. Beautiful color, not to pale, not too bright, not too red or orange or anything else. maybe a hair less saturated than I usually prefer, but I can see using this often.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China. With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters. Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed. And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments.. I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
