Hi there, I have too much ink, and a few new samples coming my way, so time to pay it forward. So I offer up some samples (probs about 3ml each).

 

UK only please (for postage costs sake). Happy to split, will do a random draw next Friday (10th Feb). A bit of a mixed bag.

 

1. Private Reserve Invincible Aqua Blue (waterproof)

2. de Atramentis Document Fuchsia (waterproof)

3. Rohrer & Klingner dokumentus Magenta (waterproof)

4. Robert Oster Fire & Ice

5. Sailor Jentle Chu Shu

6. Lamy Dark Lilac

Hi Liz, I hereby reply. I'm playing with Diamine home mixing but never tried another readily commercial ink so would be lovely to try some.

Oh, please include me. I am pretty new to this (and to the frighteningly exciting world of all.the.inks) but some of these (Fire and Ice, Chushu, I'm especially looking at you) are very high on my salivation list.

 

Also, should I win, I will then have - ta-da! - sample vials to use myself and return the favour.

I just wanted to add, I'm sorry about doing the whole block-quote-reply thing: for some reason I hadn't worked out you didn't need to (coming off another site that works a bit differently, I'm still bumbling about here and stabbing myself in the dark periodically). Sorry!

I might be able to help out, I over ordered on Mont Blanc (only the basic colours Red, Black, Lavender & Green), let me know if your interested and I'll dig out some sample bottles.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
