I have noticed some retailers are no longer stocking Private Reserve, and several members are concerned where to get their favorite colors.

 

A&D Penworx is going to continue stocking Private Reserve.

 

We do not have all of their colors in stock. If there is a color you would like to see us carry, I will be placing an order for more ink at the end of January.

 

I am asking the community to take a look at my website, and let me know if you have a special request. Please indicate bottle or cartridge in your request.

Nice to know that you sell PR inks. I really like them and you´re right, it has been difficult to find. Do you know why?

I would say that PR inks have had more than their share of problems in regards to quality control. And some retailers are shying away from PR because of it. I guess we have been fortunate in that we have had very few problems.

 

But, many people still love PR inks. And I just wanted to let the community now that we are going to continue to have PR inks available.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
